We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time Caregiver positions and a Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse in Cottage Grove, Hastings, Minneapolis, Oakdale, St. Paul and Woodbury.
Nurse
Starting pay is $35-$45/hr depending on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Professional nursing services assist clients with a variety of in-home healthcare needs, including:
- Health assessments and monitoring
- Ongoing communication with physicians, pharmacists, Home Health Aides and family
- Post-hospital and post-surgical care
- Medication management and administration
- Injection, blood draws and lab collections
- Monitoring blood pressure, pulse and respiration
- Ordering supplies and equipment
- Wound care
- Foot care
- Ostomy care
- Incontinence, catheter and colostomy care
- Assistance with therapeutic and special diets
- Diabetic management including monitoring blood sugars
- Supervision of Home Health Aids
Our Nurse plays an intricate role with our clients to implement care. You will interact with all members of the client’s health care team to identify and create a holistic approach to care in the home setting.
Qualifications:
- Practices nursing with respect for individual, cultural and spiritual differences.
- Enjoys working in an autonomous role.
- Loves working in an environment that is fun and rewarding.
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or home health care setting.
- Active RN or LPN license in the State of Minnesota.
- Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
- Pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services and have negative Tuberculosis (TB) test.
This position follows the CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Must be fully vaccinated with the exception of those who have been granted exemption status.
Caregiver
Starting pay is $20-$22 per hour dependent on experience. We offer flexible schedules.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Our Caregivers are responsible for assisting clients with their activities of daily living such as:
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Reminders for medication
- Accompany to medical appointments
- Run errands as necessary
- It is very important to engage socially in a positive way and always offer compassion and companionship.
Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with people.
- High school Diploma or GED plus experience working with vulnerable adults or seniors.
- We strongly prioritize applicants with prior experience as a caregiver, CNS, Home Health Aide, PCA or similar work. All employees will be required to take online courses and person-centered on the job training.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Valid Driver’s license, reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance/ registration
- Must treat clients and their homes with respect
- Must enjoy working with people
